Meet the Artists

Paint For Children is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established by Cheryl Phan in 2016.

We aim to improve the quality of life for special needs children by painting colorful and artistic murals on walls where children reside. Our mission is to create a space that brings joy and inspiration to the special needs population through art.

Raymond R MayoArtist

Raymond R Mayo has been a South Florida Businessman and Entrepreneur since 1988. He has a successful business called New Life Creative Painting. His specialty is murals and tromp l’oeil, having designed hundreds of works of art during that time. He loves networking and meeting new people every day. He has been married since July 4, 1982 to his Jr High School sweetheart, Lisa and has 2 daughters. “Pop” is the name his six grand kids call him. He refers to them as “the best part of life so far” and loves to spend time with them fishing, shooting, hiking and camping.

Cheryl Phan is not only the founder of Paint For Children, she is also the owner of Artzy Fartzy Creations a Faux Finishing and Decorative painting business.
